AtlasPay is a payments and money-transfer service. This policy explains what data we process when you use our app or website, and why — including identity verification (KYC) when that feature is enabled for your account.
We collect only what we need to run the service: name and contact details (email and/or phone); account and device identifiers; payment country; payment and transfer details; support messages; and basic technical logs (such as app version and IP address for security). When you complete identity verification, we also collect the photos and document images you upload (see “Identity verification (KYC)” below).
To reduce fraud, meet compliance rules, and unlock higher limits or certain features, AtlasPay may ask you to verify your identity. Depending on settings, you may be asked to upload: (1) a face photo (guided camera scan — this is not Apple Face ID and not a liveness check); and/or (2) a clear photo of your passport or national ID, photo/front side (all text must be readable); and/or (3) the front and back of your driver license (UZ prava), if that document type is enabled. Gallery uploads may be allowed; a live camera capture is more reliable. Upload only genuine documents that belong to you. Do not upload other people’s documents or unrelated images.
KYC images are uploaded over an encrypted connection and stored in a restricted vault used for verification. We may use automated checks (including image analysis) to confirm that the file looks like the expected document type (for example, rejecting a random photo when an ID is required) and, when a selfie and identity document are present, to compare the face in the selfie with the photograph printed on the ID. This is not a biometric liveness check. Human reviewers or authorized staff may also review submissions to approve, request a resubmit, or reject them. Automated checks help quality and speed; final account decisions may still involve human review.
We use your data to create and secure your account; process payments and transfers; run identity verification and compliance checks; prevent fraud and abuse; provide customer support; meet legal and regulatory duties; and improve reliability of the product.
Data is sent over encrypted connections. Access inside AtlasPay is limited to people and systems that need it for operations, support, compliance, or security. KYC documents are treated as sensitive: access is restricted, and we apply industry-standard safeguards during payments, identity checks, and account recovery.
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with payment partners, banks, identity or fraud tools, cloud infrastructure providers, or other service providers only when required to complete a transaction, run verification, fight fraud, comply with law, or when you ask us to. Each partner must protect the data they receive. KYC images are not used for advertising.
We keep account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and for the period required by law and payment rules after closure. KYC documents and verification history are retained for as long as needed for compliance, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and legal obligations, then deleted or anonymized when no longer required. Support chats and technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security and service quality. Incomplete draft uploads that you abandon may be cleared when you leave the verification flow.
You can update profile details in the app, change language and payment country in Settings, and request account deletion where available. You may replace KYC photos before final submission where the app allows it. For access, correction, or deletion requests, email support@atlaspay.uz. We may need to verify it is you before acting. Some records (including KYC and transactions) may be retained where the law requires us to keep them even after an account is closed.
AtlasPay is not intended for children. Do not use the service or submit KYC documents if you are below the legal age required in your country to use payment services.
Privacy or KYC questions: support@atlaspay.uz. We will respond as soon as reasonably possible.
